This site is my belated attempt to document and record the lives of some people whom I loved and their friends and colleagues.
At the age of 22 I travelled overland to India via Copenhagen and ended up living in the Indian subcontinent from 1965 to 1970, at which time I flew to Singapore and lived and worked in Australasia for the next 5 years, married and had two children.
In 1975 I spent three months with my old teacher in Kerala, on my way back to live in the UK. It was the last time I saw Swami Damodaranand Bharati, may he rest in peace.
In 1996 I returned to India with my daughter Kimo and stayed in Vashisht, near Manali, with family.
In 2006 I revisited Banaras & Goa, both for the first time since 1969. Much had changed & I began to think about my early formative experiences in India and the people who were important to me. Some of them, thankfully are still in contact.
I am learning oral history and various programming techniques for this long term project. I expect to be doing it until I can no longer wield a keyboard. I live in Wandsworth, South London with several computers.
